Half way to Bar Harbor. Very friendly people at both the FBO, the neat pilot shop and the restaurant. Cars are available through the FBO with a little planning ahead but be careful to let them know when you come back because the FBO doesn’t automatically call them. (gv/ked 9/94)

If you can’t find this airport, you’re hurting: the runway length is 11,318 feet. The taxi back to the FBO alone was exhausting. Portsmouth is a lovely New England port (surprise!) town with lots of nice restaurants, shops and some very interesting historical stuff, e.g., Daniel Webster’s house. (psp 9/94)
