I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to respectfully request that members of the 150th Aero Flying Club refrain from practicing “8s around a pylon” near Immaculate Conception Church and Elementary School—particularly during school hours when children are in class.
On Tuesday, August 23rd, between 1:25 PM and 2:46 PM, I observed aircraft N123GG - confirmed via FlightAware - performing such maneuvers while I was in the car line waiting to pick up my daughter. The proximity and duration of the activity raised concerns, especially given the presence of young students. Students start school at 7:50am and are dismissed at 2:50pm.
I’d be happy to discuss this further if needed, though it’s not necessary. I appreciate your attention to this matter and your continued commitment to safe and respectful flying.

Hello,
A few days ago I had applied for membership but have yet to hear back. I'm a private pilot with 331 total flight hours in a variety of aircraft. I am both high performance and complex endorsed, and have 21 hours of instrument time.
Since I'll soon be going out of the country on vacation and it will be difficult to correspond, I'm hoping to get a response back in regards to the status of my application prior to departing.

I'll be moving from Southwest Colorado to NJ in a couple weeks and am exploring area flying clubs. I'm a big fan of clubs! Before founding my small 182-based club here at MTJ, I got my private pilots license in Maryland and was a member of the TSS flying club at KGAI. I had to move to Philadelphia and was then a member of the DVA Club there where I got my instrument rating.

Situation wanted: I'm looking for an occasional local airplane ride, for which I would be happy to pay half the rental cost of a single engine aircraft. I don't mind a couple of touch (stop) and go's or other maneuvers if someone is looking to practice. At the moment I have no particular destination, I'm just looking to get in the air again.
This may be mutually beneficial for an avid aviator looking for someone to ride with or a young pilot looking for a little financial help building hours. I was there once having earned my SEL Certificate circa 1980, afterwards becoming too financially strained to stay current. Fast forward 40 years and I'm positioned to do things I enjoy.
